Daniel Schwarz-Ruso

As CEO and Investment Analyst of the Tree Top Wealth Fund, Daniel leads the organization’s investment strategy, portfolio management, and educational initiatives. He organizes club meetings, oversees asset allocation, and helps ensure that investment decisions remain aligned with the fund’s long-term objectives.

Daniel began investing money earned from summer jobs at a young age. A self-taught and disciplined student of finance, he has grown his personal portfolio by approximately 600% since its inception ten years ago. He now uses that experience to help both club members and others build a stronger understanding of investing and financial markets.

Through group discussions and one-on-one sessions, Daniel teaches topics including macroeconomics, equity valuation, risk management, diversification, behavioral finance, and market dynamics. His goal is not simply to tell others what to invest in, but to help them understand how financial systems work, why markets behave as they do, and how to make thoughtful investment decisions for themselves.

By combining real-world investing experience with practical financial education, Daniel works to bridge the gap between classroom theory and actual portfolio management. His mission is to make finance more approachable and give others the knowledge and confidence to pursue their long-term financial goals.

Outside of finance, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cooking, talking about his home state of New Jersey, and driving his 1993 C4 Corvette.
