Daniel Schwarz-Ruso

As CEO and investment analyst at the Tree Top Wealth Fund, Daniel leads both the strategic and educational arms of the organization. He is responsible for organizing and facilitating club meetings, overseeing the fund’s asset allocation, and ensuring that investment decisions align with long-term financial objectives. Beyond managing the portfolio, Daniel is deeply committed to cultivating financial literacy and investment competence among club members and non-club members alike. Since a young age, Daniel invested his money earned from working summer jobs into the financial markets. He is a self taught, highly disciplined, and strong student of the finance, growing his own portfolio 650% since inception, 10 years ago.

He regularly designs and leads workshops, discussion sessions, and one-on-one sessions to break down key concepts in macroeconomics, equity valuation, risk management, and market dynamics. Daniel takes a hands-on approach to teaching how financial systems function—from the mechanics of capital markets and monetary policy to the behavior of asset classes in different economic environments. He simplifies complex topics such as diversification and behavioral finance, empowering members to not only make smarter investment decisions but to understand why markets behave the way they do.

By integrating real-world investing experience with structured financial education, Daniel creates a dynamic learning environment that bridges the gap between textbook theory and practical application. His mission is to demystify finance and equip others with the tools they need to grow their financial confidence and work toward their long-term wealth-building goals.

Outside of finance, Daniel loves to spend time with his family, hike, cook, talk about his home state of New Jersey, and drive his ‘93 C4 corvette.
